Anne Torch

Substitute Teacher

Anne is the wife of Mark and the mother of two grown children, Mark and Meagan. Anne was born into a military family in Glasgow, Scotland. Her father was stationed there in the U.S. Navy. She spent most of her childhood in Cleveland and attended Cuyahoga Community College. Anne is also a military wife and has lived all over the United States and Europe. During that time, Anne volunteered in the Family Support Group, aiding military families by providing guidance and finding resources for spouses of deployed soldiers. Anne has resided in Pickerington for 17 years.

She has been active in the community, serving as an officer of the Fairfield Elementary PTO, as a Girl Scout Leader, and as a volunteer at the Pickerington Food Bank. Anne is a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Her pre-school teaching experience includes teaching at the United Methodist Church in Hinesville, GA (Fort Stewart Area) and Epiphany Lutheran Preschool in Pickerington. Anne’s hobbies include quilting, baking, and spending time with her family at their West Salem, OH cabin. She is a vital member of the ALC Academy team and brings much experience, love, patience, boundless energy & joy! She truly enjoys spending time with children and assisting with their education and spiritual growth.
