Elementary Classes
Monday – Friday
Our elementary classes are ideal for those who want their child to be in small classes to ensure the best learning experience that encourages continuous growth and challenges them to their full potential. We offer learning skills that foster a team or family feel by caring for one another as they learn new skills.
Our Abeka Book curriculum continues to build on their foundation of reading skills and advances children to higher reading levels. They will experience math concepts that help them apply their learning and continue growing. With consistent teaching methods, multiple learning styles, and cross-subject interjection, we can give your students a strong foundation of knowledge and learning habits from a Christian perspective.
With the Abeka curriculum, your students will encounter fun characters like Alexander Alligator and Tim the Traveler. They’ll explore subjects in full color and discover information with the help of professional illustrations, vibrant pictures, professionally crafted charts, maps, and timelines. They’ll see the big picture—the story of history, the beauty of language, the wonder of God’s creation… and that’s just the beginning.
Abeka’s spiral approach involves building from the simple to the complex, with frequent review and application. This method prevents learning gaps from the first day of school to the last.
Since repetition is the key to learning, concepts are truly learned—and remembered.
Concepts aren’t presented just once or in one way; it means they’re given multiple opportunities to succeed.
Learning preferences (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic, or otherwise understood as hearing, seeing, and doing) are integrated into the classroom. Using all three, we meet your child’s teaching style and help them become adaptable, resilient learners.
Cross-subject integration - pulling concepts from 1 subject into several others helps reinforce understanding and tie learning together.
Learning comes to life more with cross-subject integration (like when students learn about Abraham Lincoln in history, read about him in language arts, do a project with pennies, and write a story using what they know). Students feel a sense of familiarity and accomplishment when they see something they’ve already learned (like spelling words) “pop up” in another subject (like science or literature). They’re set up to succeed. Cross-subject integration engages curiosity and emphasizes the big picture.
Your students will have made tremendous leaps in learning! In the Spring, we administer the Stanford National standardized test, which ranks our students with students nationwide.
*Our enrollment space is limited due to our very low ratio of students/teachers and our small class size.

Agape Life Christian Academy is a homeschool co-op that provides the academic structure of a physical school with the flexibility of homeschooling and parent involvement in their child’s learning.
EdChoice Information & Explanation
Ohio recently passed legislation expanding the EdChoice program. However, before the vote, the bill was amended to exclude traditional homeschooled students. Agape Life Christian Academy is a homeschool co-op, and as such, because the State of Ohio does not classify it as a chartered school, it is not eligible for EdChoice.
