Kathy and her husband, Tony, met 45 years ago at a small church in Gallia County. In southern Ohio, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Rio Grande. God brought them together while Tony was with a music ministry, and Kathy was involved with the children’s programs at her church. They married 2 Years later and traveled to visit schools, churches, and events to reach the youth. They also taught the youth group together, and Kathy taught Sunday School and Summer Bible School. Kathy was involved with childcare and as coordinator of a Kids Club at a private gym for many years.
Kathy and Tony raised three daughters, Rachel, Hannah, and Emily. Kathy taught her daughters girls at home with The Abeka Book Curriculum. Her love for the Abeka Curriculum makes her a tremendous asset to our teaching team at Agape Life Christian Academy. She enjoys impacting the lives of children through the education process of learning to love school. Kathy’s experience with Abeka has been helpful in many facets of her life. She enjoys assisting one of her granddaughters, who is also taught with the Abeka Curriculum.
They have a grandson in our school, and his sister will soon follow him.
Her passion for children and teaching her entire life is evident in the classroom at Agape Life Christian Academy.
